Hi folks,

Well, it turned out my family obligations were not ending as I was expecting. So still little time to work. But when not enjoying the company of my little side kick there is slow progress in the shop.

I try to make updates on Facebook and Youtube, but there are some people who prefer written stuff, so here goes.

First off, my interests tend to go back and forth. With the lack of social interaction and fear of Covid, we have not raced once since around February of 2020. This has slowly caused me to lose motivation to work on new scratch builds. I do no think I have done many at all, other than play around making decals with the white toner printer.

I have been stuck on a problem for a project that I am sworn to secrecy on. And I am simply terrible at keeping secrets. It is wrapping up soon and I should be able to share some pics then. I will not be selling this item. I just had to pitch in and help someone work on a dream they had.

The Plymouth mold was a flop so a new one is in progress. The sliding die adjustments work amazingly well and it makes me feel like some sort of engineering genius. Here are the new parts roughed in.

The core is coming along but I got a drill bit stuck in it and extracting it is going to be murder.

I have been spending a bit of time painting up troops to use in my Oldhammer demo games. Here are some of this years new recruits.

On the bench are some Battle Masters and 4th edition starter box minis.

These are http://cute-n-tiny.com/category/cute-animals/page/34/ purchase generic cialis some of the major reasons to prescribe kamagra medicines to the ED patients.

Working on these minis has made me think of something. Many years ago Battle Masters could be had for $20 or so from Toy’s R Us. And you could make some legit rank and file models to use. There are not many low cost places for new or low income people to gather troops from.

That needs to change.

Did some other things around the shop. Got a mobile desk from Ollies and now I can move it around to make filing battles a lot easier. It is very neat and minimalist.

Had a bit of a flood and it reached almost in to the shop.

The only other project- ( that sounds ridiculous after listing all of those projects) is my lost cause of 15mm scale 40K. It is a lost cause because once again I am supporting a dead game. Heroes of Black reach looks to be a dead system and no future support is going to be forthcoming. I will be making 3D game boards using 12″ blocks of foam board. It seems rather pointless though, but most things I do fall in to that category. I like the system and I guess that is all that matters.

So that about sums up where things stand on this end of summer, 2021.

Hoping for some test shots of the Plymouth soon, as well as some more Oldhammer battle reports and maybe more Black Reach content.

Have a great fall everyone.
